Τρίτη Ἱσταμένου- Τριτ&omicron
Τρίτη Ἱσταμένου- Τριτομηνίς, III day From today’s sunset: third day of Boedromion. Τριτομηνίς, the third of the month and sacred to Athena, as the symbolic day of Her birthday. In this day, Athena Tritogeneia is also identified with Selene. A public festival was held each month during this day to honor the Goddess. It is sacred also to the Charites. On the third day of Boedromion we celebrate the glorious Victories of Hellas at Plataia and Micale (479 BCE) against the persian barbarians (the destroyers of the Temples of the Gods): with these two glorious victories, the valorous Hellenes, united and guided by the Gods, put an end to the persian invasion of Hellas and Europe, once and for all. This is the text of the Oath of the Hellenes before the battle of Plataia (Diod. Sic. 11. 29), ALWAYS TO REMEMBER! “I will not value life above freedom, nor will I desert the leaders, whether living or dead; but I will bury all of the allies who have died in the fighting; and if in this war I vanquish the barbarians, I will not overthrow any of the cities that engaged in the conflict, nor will I rebuild any of the burnt and demolished temples, but I will leave them untouched as a memorial for future generations of the impiety of the barbarians.” (The winged female figure, Nike, is suspended from a disk, which is embellished with a seven-petaled rosette surrounded by eight spiraling tendrils. In her raised right hand She carries a torch. From Asia Minor, 300–250 BCE. Now in the Boston Museum…) -- source link
