The way he prayed her name. He was a frolic. But as time passed, she found she was less and less likely to pass. Slowly, he became less like a treat and more like sustenance. Alone, at the office or in the market, she could hear his growl, feel his weight, taste the salt of his skin. She could feel the rush and thrust of him.
