queer-and-dear-books:Title: The Insiders Author: Mark Oshiro Genre: Middle Grade Fiction | Friendship | Drama | LGBTQ+ Content Warnings: Bullying | Racism | Homophobia Overall Rating: 9.4/10 Personal Opinion: This is quite possibly the most diverse book I’ve ever read. I adore each of the characters and watching them grow as people. Especially as they’re all twelve years old, they all have plenty of room to grow. None of them are perfect but they’re trying to be good human beings and that’s what makes them such compelling characters to read about. Do I Own This Book? Nope.
