After protest of Michał Szczerba, MP from opposite party, Marshal of Parliment, Marek Kuchciński excluded him from deliberation. After many times of interrupting spechees of opposition by Marshal of Parliment, rest of opposition from other parties blocked podium and decided to protest to support their collegue and free media. For the past two days my mom has been freaking out. I have never seen her this close to what I can only assume is a panic attack. She keeps talking how everything that’s happening right now reminds her of the Martial Law in Poland in the 80s. She keeps talking how nobody saw it coming until it was too late and people started getting arrested and just going to a protest could mean you disappeared, never to be seen again. She keeps talking about how my dad and her both wanted to go to the protests because it was the right thing to do, but my older sister was still so little (I wasn’t born yet) and so they couldn’t risk them both getting arrested and so my dad always went alone and she was at home worrying that she would never see him again. It’s like she’s having flashbacks and I”m not gonna lie, it’s freaking me out a little. And by “a little” I mean “a lot”. -- source link
