Hello everyone! Whew, it’s been a good month since we last posted on here but after Quinn’s year-long odyssey in Isochronus, we all just needed a break to regroup! If I haven’t said it here already, a massive thank you to all of you who bought a pin and shared our illustrations – you have no idea how much it means to us. For those who missed out and have been asking, I’m sorry, but we won’t be rereleasing any of the flower or Stag pins from this collection in the near future. The concept behind the limited-edition releases was to celebrate the transitory. Too many things can be re-accessed too easily nowadays – missed a show on TV? Watch it online. Want to listen to a song but missed it on radio? Just stream it online. It makes us not appreciate things – it makes us not appreciate people. I know it probably seems a little old-fashioned but I feel it just wouldn’t be fair to those people who bought their pins within the 2 week time limit to now make those pins available all the time just because they were popular. In a world where “authenticity” can be bought and twisted to sell protein powder, Quinn and I believe that integrity should be rewarded. And for those of you who bought all nine pins or even just one – I think it’s nice to know that you are one of a handful of people in the entire world who own those pins. In years to come, when you look back at these pins, I hope that they’ll be a memento of this year that we shared together. “The Lost Gardens of Isochronus” was inspired by the idea of growth – both literally and figuratively and we used the flower in each arc as an analogy for personal development for each of the characters. This idea of growth in itself was inspired by Quinn, who first started as a meditative personal project to now almost standing on his own 2 feet (or perhaps that should be four?). We have so much planned for Quinn, starting with a new facebook page (Quinn The Fox), followed by a new website, new products, new packaging, a new story…and possibly even a new song! Can’t wait to share it all with you soon! -- source link
