sevenpencee: It’s no secret that cats have incredible low-light vision, able to see clearly with just one sixth (1/6) of the light a human needs for the same thing. Contrary to popular belief though, cats can see some colour, and can distinguish blue hues the best. They have some difficulty with red though. The shape of their pupil also allows a faster transition between low-light and high-light situations. Cats whos pupils are rounder, actually have poorer low-light vision than their tinier house-pal cousins, though it is still better than human low-light vision. (source) -- source link
