I have been totally obsessed with donkeys & mules lately… I took a Yoga Nidra class which is a guided meditation class, and part of the visualization was a trip up a mountain with a guide, my guide was a lovely red mule. Very much like the burro jenny I saw on the BLM’s auction website, did you know you can bid on the captured wild burros and horses from your living room? You can. You just need to prove you have housing for them, and other restrictions I can’t remember off the top of my head. They can even bring the animal you win to a site nearer to where you live, and if you don’t like it when you see it, you don’t have to take them. Some of the horses on a couple of the farms that hold the BLM’s stock have even been trained to be ridden. I thought all that was great. -- source link
