aimmyarrowshigh:[21/50] pictures of → Rashida Jones Rashida Jones is a mixed race Black Jewish American actor best known for playing opalescent tree-shark Ann Perkins on Parks & Recreation and paper salesperson Karen Fillipelli on The Office. She began to consider acting as a career path during her time at Harvard University, where she initially intended to study law. Her “big break” in the acting world came with a role on Boston Public in 2000, for which she earned an NAACP Image Award in 2002. Outside of acting, Rashida also executive produced the single-order sitcom A to Z, the anti-exploitation documentary Hot Girls Wanted, and many other projects – from comic books to theatrical films. Most recently, she made news for speaking out against Pixar’s misogynistic and racist corporate and artistic culture, which caused her to withdraw from the production of Toy Story 4 despite being a co-writer on the script and storyboard. -- source link
