moosemarine: cfreezy: bigswane: cfreezy: bigswane: cfreezy: bigswane: cfreezy: bigswane: cfreezy: cfreezy: FINALLY finished my non nfa shotgun project. Spent about an hour with the dremel fitting the magpul forend. Can’t believe how it turned out. @bigswane That’s what I’ve been looking for! Mind sharing where you bought what you did? I’m looking to build one since people want to act stupid around Charlotte. I ordered the 14" front end assembly from Mossberg as a whole unit (they no longer offer them to public iirc) shockwave grip, magpul Mossberg 590 forend modded to fit the 500 with short slide action tube. Some aluminum shell holder I found online. I bought the pgo new for like $300 and all the parts cost an additional 350ish I think. I found several places that still sell the front end. My next question is how is that legal? It sounds like I just buy the front end and install it on a standard mossberg 500 which I thought was illegal because barrel length and all and you are just modifying an existing firearm. Not trying to argue I just want to make sure if I order the front end and the raptor grip I won’t go to jail for shooting a thug that breaks down my door. You have to buy a pgo Mossberg one that has never had a stock therefore it’s not a shotgun Yea I did some digging and they are only sold to military/law enforcement personnel now. Good thing I’m going through gunsmithing school. I’ll just make my own using blanks. So fuckayou mossberg! Just literally go to the store and buy one of the Mossberg cruisers. That’s a pgo weapon and throw away the factory pistol grip. There’s an atf letter approving the non nfa weapons and I always have it with me wherever mine is. I had no idea the cruiser was a pgo. I thought it had a stock and mossberg put a pistol grip on it afterwards. Thanks man. No they ship from Mossberg with the pistol grip. Bucket list of firearms -- source link
