professordiggsy:therobotmonster:dynoguard:Dracora Rex 3d model in progress.Comments and suggestions welcome. Updated colors to reflect Cora’s job as a Wildlife Ranger, and the “Heroed up” versions of her Trailrazor armor. Does the modified Trailrazor armor have any adjust abilities/powers? I feel like the armor design needs a “nature” color in there (i.e. a shade of green), depending on how it functions in the field. Trailrazor is adapted for wildlife management and wilderness rescue, with the primary armaments being a force-shield (used to protect the user against megafauna without harming them) and a lariat-pistol that lassos, bolos, and otherwise reels in big angry animals. There’s some basic fire suppression gear, first-aid kit (with gadgets for synthesizing antivenom/antitoxin), flares and smoke bombs in there, and basically high-tech versions of everything you’d find in a park ranger’s 4x4.Like any Aegis Armor, Trailrazor interfaces with a DynoBadge to adapt to the wearer’s natural abilities and DynoPowers. For Cora, this means fitting to and augmenting her natural horns and spines with force-sheaths and an adapted helmet that selectively opens to allow for use of her combustion-breath DynoPower. Trailrazor is part of a series of basic utility Aegis Armors used in rescue and law enforcement, swapping out the weapon systems and and optional modules for the job at hand. They’re also a well-worn design, not as advanced as many others but familiar, with plentiful replacement parts even for the stuff that can’t be easily made with a fabricator. The colors we see on it above are intended as an intentionally superhero-y paintjob recommended by Gloria and implemented during a much-needed refurbish. The original armor scheme is an as-of-yet-non-finalized wildreness rescue scheme. -- source link
