Another possum has snuck into my sketchbook!.This time it’s a leadbeater’s possum, or fairy possum. They’re a special little species that’s very, very old – estimated at 20 million years! Their homelands are in the Highlands where I used to hike, and I’m pretty sure I never had the good luck to see one in person. These little beans are critically endangered, and have been presumed extinct a few times before. Here’s hoping they can hold out against logging with the help of conservationists!
