xanthasays:SALOME By Oscar WildeTheatre Lab Company’s new show is a site specific theatrical live musical performance of SALOME set in the 1930’s where the atmosphere of the space is very similar to that of the “decadent palace” of Oscar Wilde’s play.I was a bit apprehensive about going to see this as I thought is was going to be hard to follow due to the old English language used. However I could not be more wrong! Anastasia Revi (director) could not have used the space of the Old Cholmeley’s Boy’s Club better. The space was used horizontally, as the audience was either side of the action, which made us feel more involved in the performance itself. Sadly this Oscar Wilde adaptation was only on for one week only and sold out immediately! But keep and eye out for more productions by Theatre Lab Company. -- source link
