Cemetery Boys by Aiden ThomasYadriel comes from a traditional magic family. He’s also a trans boy who wants to prove to his family that he’s truly a brujo. The book opens with Yadriel secretly performing a brujo ritual, hoping to summon the missing spirit of his cousin. Yadriel’s powers work- but he accidentally summons the ghost of Julian, a boy in his class who’s also gone missing.Yadriel is determined to find out what’s happening to the boys disappearing in his neighborhood. Julian has unfinished business of his own before he goes to the afterlife, so they agree to help each other. Over the course of a few days investigating at school and on the streets of LA- and hiding Julian in Yadriel’s bedroom- the two boys also start to fall for each other. This book has important themes, but is still lighthearted, full of humor, and has a happy ending. It’s a great choice for readers who want a love story with a little bit of magic. -- source link
