Axolotls are Mexican salamanders. They’re all crazy looking with their fuzzy gills and flat tails, because axolotls never metamorphosize into adults. They hit sexual maturity while retaining their juevenile forms, which, incidentally, was exactly what I hated about middle school. -- source link
