backawayfromthebuffet: 40 Calorie Harvest Pumpkin Latte Thanksgiving is over and we’re moving on to Christmas, which means there will be a shift in flavors from pumpkin to peppermint…but I still love pumpkin, so I wanted to share this festive low calorie drink with you! What you will need: 4 bags of Sweet Harvest Pumpkin tea by Celestial Seasonings 2 cups of water 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk 1 tablespoon of canned pumpkin (only ingredient should be pumpkin) Sweetener to taste (I used NuNaturals liquid stevia-any other sweetener like honey, agave, maple syrup, etc. will add calories, so make sure to factor that in) Directions: Bring your 2 cups of water to a boil and then remove from heat. Add your 4 bags of tea to the pot and cover for 2-3 hours. You now have pumpkin tea concentrate! Once your concentrate is finished you add one part concentrate and two parts almond milk to your glass. Then add 1 tablespoon of pumpkin (and your sweetener of choice) and microwave until warm/hot. Microwave times will vary, but I microwave mine for about 40 seconds. Enjoy! -- source link
