The innuendo, the banter, the fact they are at a fucking crime scene that’s covered in blood, the way Jack is like ‘yup, it’s huge’ and Phryne’s all ‘hmmm I’ll be the judge of that’. There’s a sense of equality in their flirting as well as their sleuthing, as well as a joy and humour that’s so lovely it makes me happy dance.
