paddedlittleparadise: Another excerpt from a completely fictional manual on training your Little:When helping your Little transition from grown adult to precious little sweetheart, one of the most important rules to keep in mind is this:PANTS ARE THE ENEMY.Oh, I hear you already. “But what if my Little likes them? What if they need to stay warm? Surely my darling can wear them out in public…” No. No ifs, ands, or buts. Pants, jeans, shorts: whatever form these garments take, they should be anathema to any loving Daddy or Mommy who’s set on training their Little sweetheart back into the diapers in which they belong. Why are pants so bad for your Little? Well, it’s simple:1. Pants and jeans create the illusion of adulthood where there should be none. When was the last time you saw a baby or toddler in tight-fitting jeggings? Or a three-piece suit? Or heels? Perhaps the most defining trait of infancy is the diaper, so there’s zero reason to hide it or to let your Little try to pretend to be something they no longer are. Your Little is just that: a sweetheart whose body may be adult, but whose mind, role, attire, behavior, and treatment are all firmly back in infancy. Adult clothes like pants and jeans are simply out of place!2. Pants and the like conceal what should be most prominent: both in the eyes of the Little themselves and in the eyes of all around them. Real babies need and deserve to flaunt their diapers for all to see, after all – just like the adorable Little in the picture above. Doing this with your own Little helps to define them similarly as openly diaper-dependent little sweethearts, and it will help to remind them of their status whenever they begin to think they can aspire to adulthood. Repetition and consistency here is vital! As weeks and months pass, the lack of pants will help to naturalize and normalize their diapers… which is absolutely vital to their diaper training.3. Pants, jeans, and shorts impair your ability as a caregiver to accurately assess the state of your Little’s diaper. Seriously! There’s little more frustrating than a whiff of dirty diaper in the air, and two or three tightly tucked layers of clothing between you and the diaper that badly needs inspection. Plus, when your Little’s stuck in the diaper training phase and they’re still trying to pretend that they can hold it “like a big kid,” it’s all the more important to be able to see – and yes, watch with pleasure – those exact moments when they finally give in to their Little needs and use their diaper exactly as intended. 4. Pants and so forth impede the actual functioning of a Little’s diaper, compressing it and leading to unwanted developments like leaks or even chafed thighs. Diapers are deliberately designed to swell and sag as they are used – but pants unfortunately obstruct this design by compressing it and distorting it as it swells. Get rid of the jeans, and you will often get rid of unwarranted leaks and chafing – for which your Little should be grateful!5. Pants, jeans, you name it: they’re simply unnecessary for your Little, and as such, become just one more thing that gets dirty and needs washing. There’s a reason good Daddies and Mommies strip their Littles down to just a diaper when they’re about to get messy: there’s no need for anything else! Ditch the pants, and you’ll save yourself an extra heap of clothes in the laundry.6. Pants and jeans are restrictive, confining your Little’s freedom of movement and impeding the development of their full flexibility. Take another good look at the Little darling above! Without the restrictive bondage of jeans, she’s able to lie there in complete comfort, letting those thighs and legs fall open naturally and in so doing exposing her diaper to the full view of her caregiver. Do your active Little’s muscles a favor and ditch those pants! Now, there are a few little pointers in conclusion. Obviously, sometimes it’s necessary (particularly in cold climates) to keep a Little’s legs extra warm. Fear not! Instead of jeans, try tight-fitting leggings, or long underwear, or stockings, or even yoga pants in a pinch. These will maintain flexibility, keep your Little warm, and still emphasize to everyone that they are still very clearly in diapers. Of course, as soon as you possibly can you should remove these garments again and let your Little return to their pants-less bliss. And finally, skirts or diaper covers are a final option for those who are in absolute need of something to wear over the diaper in public. In the case of skirts, we recommend keeping them just barely long enough for modesty. In fact, a short skirt in public on a diapered Little in the early days of their training can be incredibly useful for reminding them of their state, because with every little move and breeze they will be mortified at the thought that someone will notice their bulging derrière. This is all positive, because it reminds them that they are Little and that there is nothing they can do to change that. As with the previous recommendation, if you do use a skirt for your Little, remove it as soon as possible afterward to return them to their proper, openly diapered state. So, there you have it.
