Happy 100th Birthday, John F. Kennedy!Monday, May 29, 2017 marks what would have been President John F. Kennedy’s 100th birthday. As the JFK Library honors the legacy of the 35th President of the United States, metadata catalogers in the Archives Digitization division are working on describing nitrate negatives from the Kennedy Family Collection photographs that feature snapshots of John F. Kennedy’s life originating from his birth until the early 1950s. The photographs exhibit a more private, personal side of his life not often seen by the public.These images were taken in the mid 1940s. Photographs © John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
