by Reb Gutman Locks Better Than Gold Our good deeds are more precious to us than our money. They are our true wealth. When we leave this world, we leave all of our physical possessions behind. We go on to stand before the Holy Judge. He is not going to count the money we left behind. He is going to count our deeds… both our good deeds, and our not-so-good deeds. Be wise. Collect as much spiritual wealth as you can while you are here because you will not be able to do anything once you have gone. You can learn Torah, even a few minutes counts, do a mitzvah, or go help someone. If not for his sake, then go do it for your sake. When you help someone, you make him happy right then, and that makes you happy right then, but even more so, will it make you happy in the World to Come. -- source link
