Cats and Books - Ms. Chan- Saving Stray Cats in Hong Kong.In the early 80’s, Hong Kong stray cats were seen as pests and exterminated. Mr. Chan took in sick and injured cats at his bookstore, sometimes up to 20 at a time. He was able to home several of these cats. His daughter inherited the thrift book store from her father and has continued the tradition. The cats are now a part of the store as she continues to bring awareness/shelter needy cats.
