The type is handset14 point Joannawith Perpetua titling.The text paper is Frankfurt Cream, printed damp. The cover paper was made by The Curwen Press, thefamous English printing firm, which was founded in 1863 and closed in 1984. Thecolophon notes that the cover paper was “designed by MargaretJames in 1922 and proved over the years to be one of the best-sellingCurwen papers. Of the numerous designs produced, few had names. This paper isan exception.
