The first time the Young Avengers and the X-Men meet, Tommy challenges Northstar to a race. Tommy loses miserable but, the two are two peas in a pod, and work together quite well. Most of the Young Avengers and X-Men find it shocking how swimmingly the two could get along, see as how they both seem to fight with everyone else all the time.
