lusilly:Okay, so, the one on the left is the cover for Batwoman #17.I love Batwoman, I love the series, and I LOVE these covers. But when I saw this image of her, my eye was drawn to her teeny tiny waist. Look at that. TINY. Batwoman is generally drawn very well, not too fetishy and gross, but consistently her costume has been shown to be very, very structured, to the point where the waist tapers off to this slim tiny little thing and, honestly, can Kate breathe in that thing? Is there a corset under there? Is there even room for her internal organs? So anyway, I just took this image and made her waist a little bit thicker. In the second image, she does not at all have a thick waist. She has a waist that merely reflects actual anatomy a little better, and it points out the fact that Kate is given that tiny little waist in order to give her more of an hourglass figure, when she’s actually a pretty slim woman who would, in reality, have a less curvy figure. The tiny waist is constructed deliberately to highlight the curve of her hips and ass, and the broadness of her breasts. This is an image of Kate looking awesome and regal and badass. She does not need the tiny waist to define her body in a more sexual way. -- source link
