Letting go, because an open hand welcomes more than one clutched to the past. . . . Yesterday I felt soggy. Today I feel like I’m leaking. Working on accepting that growth doesn’t always look or feel courageous. Getting in touch with words like surrender and humble. What’s that thing about paradoxes? This morning I realized how much more intimate it is to share things you’re 100% unsure of than the things you think you might have pinned. I looked back on all the times I fought to be sure of anything with people I thought I was fighting to stay close to. This morning I’m wondering what opening up about all the things I couldn’t place would have done. . .
