Alexandre Anissa ‘Fawn’ Bra/Brief/Garter set. The aesthete and photography-lover in me has loved AA since first glance. Firstly, because the label has a very strong visual signature- their lace in hot pink, red and black always remind me of a dark, sexy Valentine’s Day. Secondly, their film-shot imagery is a breath of fresh air in lingerie advertising that is, typically, repetitive digital perfection. Aside from these very cool aspects, the lingerie is pretty good too! I LOVE the scalloped edge on this bra’s cups and straps particularly. The sizing on the bra is hard as AA does S/M/L sizing only for now. It is almost impossible for indie labels to do back/cup sizing (which is why most only do bralets). Quite easily, you can get the closest to your bra size as per a label’s site and hope that it fits or do a quick 5min alteration. As a 32D, I got the medium which fits well in the cup but is a little loose from the band I merely took an inch in on either side of the clasp to fit and voila! It’s a gorgeous sheer lace balconette and I adore the unique tiny crucifix detail (which is also on the brief, a VERY comfortable and nicely cut bikini shape. The garter skirt is super-cute and is what makes the set, I feel. It definitely adds the ‘Lolita’ to the 'Gothic Lolita’ vibe of this style. This is definitely an indie label I will continue to support- I am already gagging for this in hot pink, the Fawn babydoll and their Valentine style (check them out).
