This Greek kylix from 510 BCE depicts a man playing Kottabos. Kottabos was a drinking game played by ancient Greeks and Italians at their parties (symposia). The object of the game was to use just one hand to flick the last bits of wine in your cup at a small statuette, which was perched above a little platform. You were successful if you could knock the statuette down onto the platform so that it made a clanging sound.{WHF} {HTE} {Medium} -- source link
