Street Tree and Mums, Washington, DC, 2008.If climate change is as great as a few predict, palms might become street trees in the mid-Atlantic region, but for the moment this is a summertime only street species. As the tree appears to be several years old, it must have been taken indoors for winters. The winter of 2017 has, thus far, been so warm the palm could have survived outdoors. -- source link
