Sacred flames continued to be quenched throughout Europe until 1388, when the sacred flame of the Baltic god Perkūnas was extinguished in Vilnius, Lithuania.Today, we recall and celebrate the many expressions of traditional religions across ancient Europe. Let us also take pride in the efforts of modern revivalists and reconstructions to kindle those flames anew. May all who offer light and prayers to the gods be blessed! -- source link
