“Tbh I don’t understand why people get so upset their ship might not become/is not canon, especially to the point of sending hate to the creator/s, etc. In the end, shipping is pairing 2 characters you enjoy seeing together, whether they become canon or not is kind of irrelevant. It’s rare for the ships I like to become canon, but when they do, I’m like "Oh! Cool. I didn’t expect that.”… and that’s it.
