danhacker: The Bat Can Fly I guess Christopher Nolan isn’t even trying to keep the Batwing (or Bat-Copter) under wraps anymore. This certainly does fit the description of the Aeriel vehicle that crew members had been talking about. From what I’ve read The Batwing is less of a VTOL (verticaltake-off and landing aircraft) and an actual helicopter that will have the rotors CGed in during post-production. Presumably Batman is chasing after Tal al Ghul (Marion Cotillard), since those military camo tumblers seem to be hers, and what better way to stop a trio of military tumblers than with the Goddamn Bat-copter. I’m also curious if the Batwing/copter is another transformation of the tumbler or if it’s an entirely new vehicle? (via) -- source link
