According to the Female Obedience Act of 2028 there were strict provisions in the behavior of wives and in their dress. As soon as its Male guardian stops walking, the escorted wife must immediately kneel by Him. The wife must be collared and leashed. Except for jewelry, shoes (only after sunset), and, in some jurisdictions, hosiery as long as it goes no higher than mid-thigh, clothing indoors is prohibited. -- source link
