Here it is – we finally have official renderings for the Foster + Partners-designed 270 Park Ave, which replaced the historic Union Carbide Building, making it the tallest building to ever be demolished. The JPMorgan Chase skyscraper is currently under construction following demolition and will rise to nearly 1,400 feet. The new HQ will feature a public plaza on Madison Ave and will be all electric. In 2012 the Union Carbide building underwent a sustainability upgrade that made it the highest LEED rating of any building at the time. What do you think Park Ave’s newest skyscraper?
