This is nothing unusal either. The Conservatives have wrecked the NHS: elderly people dying on trolley’s in hospital corridors, hospitals now so overwhelmed that they’ve had to call in doctor’s who normally only attend major disasters! A&E’s that look like war zones. Staff that can no longer cope. And not just hospitals either. Two of the GPs at my own surgery retired early because they couldn’t stand any more of the pressure, the excessive bureaucracy, the chronic underfunding and overall lack of resources. Patients are having operations and other treatments delayed or cancelled. Ambulance queues at A&E departments. An elderly patient at Worcester Hospital had a heart attack and died after waiting over an hour in the ambulance to be admitted.And some people are still blaming the NHS for this. It’s not the NHS, it’s the Conservative government causing this. All they want to do is break down the NHS so they have an excuse to get away with privatising it. A party that runs down the NHS, causing suffering and deaths, while handing funds and tax cuts to billionaires is not a party that ever has or ever will care about you. -- source link
