Roman Calendar - June 20: Festival of Summanus, god of nocturnal thunderAn ancient god of either Etruscan (Pliny) or Sabine (Varro) origin. His temple near Circus Maximus was built during Pyrrhic war and dedicated on June 20; –> hence the festival was held on this day.
