spatscolombo:So the galaxy is under threat and Spock is MIA, probably dead, and Uhura is trying like hell to raise his signal (she’s about to succeed, because flawless queen) and I just noticed that she’s missing a nail. And I know it’s like Spock’s Band-Aid—an accident that they didn’t think we’d notice because nobody had HD televisions—but I still think it’s just the sweetest narrative touch. Uhura is fabulous and put-together as hell, but when there’s a crisis she’s got better things to worry about. Like saving everyone. -- source link
