I’ve seen tons of these floating around for character/OC inspiration but after having a long conversation with my spouse over thematic tone in movies and games, we started talking about media that’s inspired our tone/plot/themes for the homebrew games we run and I wanted to make a little thing for Darkwood! Darkwood is my homage to folklore and fairytales. Not only do I love media that toes the line between being thematically dark and whimsical, but after filling this out I realized that every one of my main inspo sources is basically a world of “A contained settlement surrounded by a vast, dangerous, unknown land.” Which is Darkwood in a nutshell!  I DID save a blank version if other DMs are interested in playing around with it!
