Radiotherapy day 15. 17 to go. Tomorrow and Friday get me past the halfway point. I hope I can press through the three weeks after that without missing any days due to weather, Covid exposure, or side effects, because missed days get tacked on the end. That isn’t actually the halfway point, of course: just the halfway point of radiotherapy. Then there’s (best case) a month or two of recovery, and five years of drugs and slowly decreasing monitoring. I’m grateful for all of you and your love and support. Please get your scheduled cancer screenings and don’t ignore that weird mole. The 10 year survival rate for me, right now, is 99%. In a year, it would not have been.
