Decembird Day 9: PetThis pair of Collared Doves are Pinky and Grey. They’re technically not pets, but they’re from the neighbourhood I live in and are daily visitors to our apartment’s small garden space. When we noticed them when we first moved in, we bought seeds for them and for the family of sparrows who live here, and now we’re always sure to be stocked with seeds for them. They don’t know it, but they’ve become very important bird friends of ours whom we wait to catch sight of in the mornings before they come and feed, and since the female is a tone pinker than the male, they earned the nicknames of Pinky and Grey :D -Patreon - DeviantArt -- source link
