I have a new story out! “THE FUTURE COMES FROM THE SKY”, and I’m giving it away for free for a limited time. I wrote it years ago, 2014 or 2015, I don’t exactly remember, but I remember I was reading a collection of sci-fi short stories from 1980, “The Future I”, and there are some stories in there I really, really like - ‘The Large Ant’, 'Black Charlie’ - and that’s how I got to write this story. I think I read 'The Large Ant’ a hundred times, it’s a great thought piece, and one day, BAM!! an idea popped in my head, I wrote it down, I thought it was great, sent it to some magazines, they were not as enthusiastic about it as I was, so then I decided to put it aside and come back to it later. When I write a story it’s hard to see its faults right away, that’s why it’s great if you have an editor, let’s say, to point out some mistakes that are really obvious but you can’t see them. Well, I picked the story again this year, 5 or 6 years later, and I was like, “Oh, my god, this is awful!!! Did I sent this to magazines? How embarrassing!” The problems were obvious, so I got rid of some characters, added new ones, did some re-writing, and there you go. Ready to share with the world! I hope you guys enjoy it.
