This past week saw one of the most cautionary episodes of WARRIOR this show’s ever seen. Episode 9 follows the pursuit of an alleged killer whose San Francisco’s police carriage then gets swarmed by an Irish lynchmob who manage to get their way. The moment this character is murdered brought back some of the most painful bookmarks in American history, internally recounting all the stories of human atrocity and hate crimes against minorities. As angering and scream-inducing as it was, it was also symbolic and representative of the very core of this show’s spotlight on Chinese immigrants near the turn of the century. WARRIOR is as escapist and fun as it is emotionally compelling at times, and without question, has some of the strongest cast performances across the board. It’s key feature as a martial arts action IP in its committment to celebrating the life and legacy of Bruce Lee is well earned here too, with lead star Andrew Koji lighting up the screen with one of the finest action finales ever shot on TV. This show deserves a third season. It deserves to have its story continue. #WarriorMAX #BruceLee #SanFrancisco #AmericanHistory #ChineseAmericanHistory Filter: Willow https://www.instagram.com/p/CIOGGQYABWh/?igshid=jq55adbh33s8 -- source link
