While the five GE Haliade turbines tower 600 feet above the water, there’s a lot going on under the surface. Photographer David Doubilet captures a lion’s mane jellyfish gliding underneath a turbine during our #OffshoreBlockParty — one of many marine creatures, native to Block Island, that have begun using the turbines’ steel supports for shelter.
