This picture shows a detail of the tile decoration on the Western Iwan, called Soffe ye Ostad, which was built during the Seljuk dynasty period, while the tile and mosaic work date from the era of Shah Sultan Hossein. This iwas is regarded as one of the master works of Islamic calligraphy, showcasing different styles of calligraphy, such as Solth, Nastaliq, Bannaeis and geometric designed calligraphy (Kufic)”.
