Meet the newest species from Madagascar: Platypelis ranjomena! We just published the scientific description of this little frog in the journal Vertebrate Zoology. .Amazingly, the species was first discovered by our team around 1994, but through a variety of complicated circumstances, its description was impossible until enough material was gathered.
