PHOTO OF THE DAY: ACTIVISTS WARN PROSPECTIVE COLUMBIA STUDENTS ABOUT RAPE MISHANDLING“Yesterday, the student activist group No Red Tape crashed an info session for prospective students at Columbia University to make sure those considering attending the school “know the truth about Columbia’s mishandling of sexual and dating violence and their new completely inadequate prevention education programming.” The group distributed a letter calling on prospective students to grill the college on its efforts to combat campus sexual assault. “We need your help to hold all colleges accountable, and urge you to demand information from Columbia and other schools you visit about what they are doing to keep students safe and address gender-based violence on campus.”Read the full piece here -- source link
