posi-pan: it’s coming up on that time of year again! time for pan people to celebrate themselves and spread love and acceptance and positivity and pride for their identity!! as always, pan week is the week of pan pride day on december 8th, and this year that falls on december 6th-12th. please please share this and spread the word, because people have been talking about how we need a pan week instead of being included in bi week and suggesting their own ideas for when it should be, because they don’t know it already exists. it’s awesome to want to create things for the community, but not if it comes at the expense of the work pan people are already doing and have been doing for years. if you want to learn about pan week, i have a page dedicated to it, which includes links to previous pan week’s announcement posts. last year i started a pan pride readathon, which was a month long readathon in december. it’s happening again this year, so if anyone is interested, the only rule or challenge is to read and promote books with pan rep. be pan as fuck, in whatever way you’re comfortable with, and have fun! -- source link
