Candice and I have had private conversations where I’ve apologized to her, acknowledged where I could’ve done better and I’ve promised her I will. My silence didn’t mean I wasn’t bothered. Beyond blocking them I didn’t think it was worth giving trolls attention. It was just me handling it in a way that didn’t have to make me uncomfortable, which I realize now was cowardly at times and a mistake.
