judedias: 01 He could feel it. Strongly. Someone was watching him. He looked around. But he couldn’t see anyone out of the ordinary. Everyone seemed to be doing their own thing. And him? He was standing out in the cold rain. He was freezing. It felt like tiny little icy knives as the falling rain droplets hit his skin. But he couldn’t care less. He turned back forward and took a deep breath. As he waited for the stick-figure of a man to light up green, he could feel this hollow pain searing up on the inside. It was un-explainable. But the pain felt so real. As if someone had stabbed him on the back. Vehicles on either side screeched to a halt and the sounds brought him back to where he was. The stick-figure man turned green. He stepped forward onto the crossing along with a few other people who had been waiting to cross the street. He stepped onto the curb on the other side and a few feet from where he was standing, a dirty wooden door of an equally dirty, run down building stood its ground. Taking another deep breath, he walked towards the door. He had nothing left. It was all over. Maybe it was time to enter into something new. He grabbed the rusty door knob, opened the door and entered, leaving the noise, rain sploshed world behind him. Keep reading -- source link
