Very, very true. being-pleased: I don’t need the chain. I don’t need the cuffs; the paddle, the toys, the tools… I don’t need the clothes, the outfits, the accessories… I don’t need it - let it burn. The why is written in your eyes when you look up at me. That eager submission, falling to your knees, falling into place, as a force of nature… Not commanded to do so, not trained to do so… Simply belonging there. Your love for me keeps you chained to me more than any chain I could ever clip to your neck… Your submission keeps you where I place you firmer than any restraints I could place on you. Your will to please me makes my disappointment worse punishment than any paddle could ever be… And all of this, in your posture, in your eyes, I see it; and it makes you more beautiful than any clothes or adornments could ever make you. I don’t need the chain… But sometimes I use it anyway. Sometimes I bring out the chain, the cuffs, the paddle, the toys, and the tools… Sometimes we play not because of a need, but because of a want.
