Union Arms Company Semi-Auto revolver,Made in the early 1900’s, the Union Firearms Company manufactured these revolvers out of Toledo, Ohio. Chambered in .32SW, the break open revolvers were special in that they were semi-automatic revolvers. Modeled after the Webley Fosbery, the revolver was not double action, instead the discharge of the cartridge provided the energy to work a mechanism which turned the cylinder. While a unique design the Union Arms Company faced stiff competition from other manufacturers who produced cheaper conventional revolvers. Only a few hundred would be produced. -- source link
