Okay, hold up. I get what this post is trying to say. It’s trying to say that you should appreciate your boyfriend/fiance/husband’s efforts to make you happy, and yes, for most couples, that’s probably the case. If he does all the right things and you don’t appreciate him, eventually he’s going to get fed up and leave you for someone who does. But you know what?Sometimes a guy can be a perfectly “good man”, and still not be right for you. He might hold doors and pull out your chair for you and pay for your meals and say and do all the “right” things, but still not be the guy for you. If you’re not feeling it, you’re not feeling it, and that’s that. If you’re in a relationship that’s fallen flat for you, and you’re waffling between “he doesn’t share any of my interests or hobbies or personality traits” and “he has a great job and always remembers my birthday”, it’s completely okay to admit you’re not happy and walk away. Sometimes two people just don’t click. And it’s hard enough to admit that a relationship has fizzled out without crap like this trying to make you feel bad about leaving. -- source link
